Yesterday I visited Tampere Art Museum for H.R. Giger’s exhibition. He’s always been one of my favorite artists of all time, but somehow his works haven’t been in my thoughts that often. Still, this was an exhibition I could’ve died for to see it 10 years ago, and it was great to see it now too.
When working with the digital world and the Web, and being all the time somehow connected, I felt the message of his biomechanoid works maybe more current that I had even realized. Or what do you think about the work “Space Jockey”, made for the movie Alien, a being grown together with its control devices and the machine?
